Interesting facts

He was a favorite of Queen Elizabeth I.  She knighted him in 1585.  He was inprisoned in the Tower of London and soon put to death .  In 1587 he was an undergraduate at Oxford.  He was an English aristocrat, writer, poet, soldier, courtier, spy, and, explorer. 

exploration years

He sailed for England.  On his first voyage he found love and had 4 kids.  One went over board and died once its body hit the ice cold water.  He was trying to find a colony.  He didn't find it, he found gold and silver.  The reason he didn't find a colony was because there was buffalo in the way and he was afraid of buffalo.
