Prince Henry of Portugal was born on March 4, 1394. He was good with navigating, most people call him Prince Henry the Navigator. He sailed for his country, Portugal. He wanted to expand Portugal's land even farther than it was. Henry was not able to do that though. He was able to discover islands but, he was not able to expand his country's land. He was also the 3rd born son from his father, King John the first. He was also the first to discover a sea way to India.
