About Jacques Cariter, he was an explorer who wanted to find new places to trade.He also was going to North America to prove he was valueable for expeditions in the upcoming dates. He explored from 1534 till death. Jacques was born on December 31,1419 and died in 1557, his childhood was very hard and brutal. He sailed for the country France. Jacques wanted to find new  places to trade,He had multiple voyages. he sailed with Henry Hudson, Louis and Clark, and John Glenn. A fun fact about Jacques is that he made up his own saying and that is, "If the soil were as good as the harbors it would be a blessing." Cariter descoverd the Lawrence River. His first voyage was to America, his second was to Canada, his third was to the new world. On the second voyage he kidnapped 12 indains including the chief, he wanted the indains to tell him where gold is located.
